Dear SJV Families, It is hard to believe that we have reached the end of the month already. We welcome a new Prep teacher who will be teaching Health and the Arts for some of our classes at SJV, her name is Ms. Baranski. Thank you to the parents who came out to Parent Council last week. The council has chosen the executive: chair: Laura Flynn-Northcote, treasurer: Collette Newby, Secretary: Jenna Idzerda. As well many other parents who have come to support our school. Just a reminder that Monday is Orange Shirt Day: Every Child Matters! Orange Shirt Day is an event that started in 2013. It was designed to educate people and promote awareness about the Indian residential school system and the impact this system had on Indigenous communities for more than a century in Canada. So show your support for all children and wear your Orange Shirt on Monday. Have a great weekend, Yours in faith, J. Murphy This Week's Events: Growth mindset Quote of the Week:
