Community Garden!!!

Hello SJV Families!
Urban Pantry is building a community garden at Shear Park! The plots will be available to our community to rent for the year. SJV will be registering to rent a plot once registration opens (date TBD). In the meantime, Urban Pantry is looking for volunteers to help fill the plots! If you’re around this weekend, take advantage of the beautiful weather and come down to Shear Park on Saturday, May 4 at 12:00 noon with your shovels. The woodworkers will be finished building the plots by noon and then they will need volunteers to help move that huge pile of soil and mulch into the beds! Kids are welcome. If you live close by and are willing to bring a wheelbarrow, that would be very helpful also!
