Dear SJV families,
This
coming Thursday, Mar 21, is not only the first day of Spring, it is also World
Down Syndrome Day, where around the world we come together to support and
celebrate our friends and family with downs syndrome. To raise awareness and to show support our school will participate in the LOTS OF SOCKS event.
This is where students and staff can wear special socks to show support to our students
with Downs Syndrome. Our Lots of Socks
can be brightly coloured or have special designs.
Maybe your children have a very special set of socks, maybe they can wear different
socks on each foot or even several layers of socks, it is up to each individual. We can’t
wait to see all the different styles of socks our staff and students will be wearing for the LOTS Of SOCKS event this coming
Thursday, in support of World Down Syndrome Day.
