Dear SJV Families,
Bundle up warm, it is going to be a chilly weekend.
Parent Help needed:
We have been noticing and increasing trend of students coming in late to school in the morning.  We know that occasional medical appts and such will happen, but we are concerned about the increasing number, more frequent and/or repetitive lates to school.  A student coming late to class is always a distraction to the learning day that has already started.  Often the teacher has to pause or re-start the day to accommodate any late students.  With the extra clothing, hats, mitts, boots that are necessary for winter days, it adds time to your morning routine, so please allow for that and make the effort to have students arrive on time. This assists the teacher and the classrooms' learning overall, as well as, it teaches the children the importance of punctuality.  If it is important to you, it will be important to your child.  Thank you in advance for your support in this.
Your in faith,
J. Murphy
