Dear SJV Families,
what an excellent week we had here at SJV. Bullying prevention week was celebrated with the theme Called to Be Kind. Our students and staff spent the week nominating our students who were acting selflessly and being kind to others around them, setting a great example of how people should treat one another. Some of the things for which students were recognized are: always helping others, always being polite, letting others go first, including peers in their activities, cleaning their learning area without being asked, being a great example to others. A school where we act kindly is one where bullying will not have a place. Congratulations to our 2 draw winners of the Called to Be Kind T-shirts: Hunter in Gr. 3 and Sofia in gr. 6!
